My personal interest in policies that affect the lives of Pasifika people comes from personal experience particularly having been educated in different schools at both ends of the decile scale and also seeing first-hand the results of clashes of culture.
I believe that education is the key to success in colloboration with an appreciation of ones roots (culture) to move forward. I have recently finished my undergradute studies with a BA in Political Studies and Pacific studies and currently in my first semester of Graduate studies. I am committed to contributing to the advancement of eliminating barriers for Pasifika people and re-defining the word ‘success’.
