Seven new CCOs are established through the new Auckland governance structure:
- Auckland Transport
- Auckland Council Investments Ltd
- Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Ltd
- Regional Facilities Auckland
- Auckland Council Property Ltd
- Auckland Waterfront Development Agency
Auckland’s water services will be delivered through Watercare, which will be expanded to include the water operations of all the current councils. Watercare remains a council organisation rather than a council-controlled organisation until July 2012.
