Jarrod Cordier is currently a full time post-graduate student studying Public Policy at the University of Auckland.
Jarrod’s interest in the policy of ethnic data collection stems from his personal life exeriences, where over the past decade Jarrod has had the opportunity to work and travel in over 50 nations throughout Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and the America’s. During this period Jarrod was able to gain employment in education and youth development in Southeast and Eastern Asia, the Northern Arctic, and the South American Andes in order to help further fund his nomadic aspirations
These experiences have given Jarrod a first hand insight into the failure of policies and resources to reach their desired target audiences, especially when these target audiences are among the most vulnerable people on the planet.
Jarrod hopes that this website will prove to be a useful springboard and intellictual tool to facilitate any further study, and that his policy analysis will help to continue to provide an awareness of the issues that New Zealanders are now facing,. This issue is of great concern for the future of all New Zealanders due to the large and ever increasing social and economic gap that exists in the country.
