Of the policies reviewed, the following seem to provide the best fit for the super city;
- Three-bin system, with the separation of recycling, compost and the rubbish, complemented with public education on what materials can and cannot be recycled and how these materials should be recycled.
- In addition, information regarding what can be composted and how to compost should also be provided so to encourage environmentally admirable ways of disposing organic materials.
- Increased encouraged of businesses to pursue sustainable initiatives and invest in sustainable resources, thus becoming capable to provide more sustainable goods and services.
- Large role for central government in coordinating waste management prevention and minimisation within regions so to avoid information and procedure asymmetry.
